I don't know how I've only just discovered this collection but better late than never! Puffin books collaborated with designer/illustrator Dana Tanamachi to create Puffin Chalk. A project to  rework the book covers of these classic children's stories. The art work was created completely by hand straight on to chalkboards, which most certainly gives that fun and whimsical look.
