Mouni Feddag | Illustrator

Mouni Feddag is a UK based Illustrator whom has an impressive body of work and client list, she has worked for the likes of Vogue Online, Anthropologie, Hallmark and many more. Mouni's Illustrations are amazingly colourful, have lovely textures and are packed with personality. I particularly like the subject matter of her work which are mostly observational drawings in everyday mundane situations like coffee shops, street markets, the family home, restaurants and busy streets. Managing to capture the busy bustle of life and transform them in to beautiful vibrant pieces of art is what makes her stand out amongst the rest.

The River | Marc Martin

'The River'-Written & illustrated by Marc Martin

Marc is a Melbourne based Illustrator whose work I came across via Instagram some time ago now. I particularly love his process videos/photos as theres something quite satisfying about watching watercolour paint dry... His use of colour and textures are something to be admired as it can be easy to get it oh so very wrong, but Marc manages to create vibrant beautiful colour palettes that make you feel warm. When I discovered he had written&illustrated his own children's book there was no hesitation in purchasing a copy! It now sits proudly upon my book shelf alongside many of my other all time favourites.

Maricor/Maricar

Maricor/Maricar is a Sydney based design studio which is made up of two sisters that specialise in hand embroidered illustration/typography. I came across their work when researching for illustration that is created using needle and thread. The vibrant colours leap out at you and the gradients they manage to create are B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L! I can't even begin to imagine how many hours these pieces take to make and also how much thread they must go through.

Be sure to check out the rest of their work here!
