UCLAN Degree Show 14

Yesterday I took a trip into Preston to go and visit the degree show. Mainly to have a look at all the illustration work on display. It was really nice to see all the hard work had paid off as there were some really great pieces of work on show. The work was really varied and there was a lot of different processes and outcomes produced, some including: Printmaking, 3D, children's books and paper cuts. I particularly liked the little wooden pieces (Pictures 2+7) which I presume were lasered. Portfolios were also on show which I always like having a flick through to see thought process and development. Everything was unique in its own way. Whilst I was there I took the opportunity to look around all the other degree shows as well. The last photograph wasn't taken from the illustration exhibition, annoyingly I can't remember which show it was that I saw them in! But nonetheless I thought they were cleverly made. Created from Penguin book titles made to look like penguins.
