Recently i have just finished reading a book written by Patrick Ness called "The knife of never letting go". I was kindly given the book by a friend on my course. I'd never heard of the book before which for me i find more satisfying as you can keep an open mind about it. I found the story very gripping from the beginning (Don't worry I wont ruin the plot for you). The books aimed for the teenage market but honestly any age would be drawn in by the plot. It has everything you could ask for in a story such as: great personalities, suspense, a chase, decision making, compassion, an enemy and not to mention a loveable talking dog named Manchee.
I also found out there are another two books in the series so i'm going to have to get my hands on them some time soon!
