These were the remains of my sketching pencils, to be fair they had lasted me about 2 years. So i decided it was about time to get a new set. I opted for a tin of Derwnet pencils for a change.
So i started a few observational drawings the other day for my summer project. I started with just focusing on the head/shoulders. Im fairly happy with the two pencil drawings (Top left & bottom left) as with the top one i feel i took my time with it and drew exactly what i saw, the bottom pencil one was a little experiment where i drew without looking at the page, i like this technique as you get much looser lines.
Im not as happy with the other two drawings on the page (Top right & bottom right) as i feel the lines are quite harsh and graphic like especially the stick and ink one, the other i used biro.
